Description:'Antient (sic) Military Barricade at Pipe Hill.' Showing a scale drawing of the barricade (8 ft high above the ground), and a ground plan showing the position of the barricade. Also showing a soldier with a spear at the side of the barricade. It is believed to be the remains of a Roman boundary defence or aquaduct. Engraved after a drawing by William Pitt.
