Description:The Mary Queen of Scots' Watch is a large 16th century skull watch that was allegedly given by Mary Queen of Scots to Mary Seaton, one of her Maids of Honour. It is now in the collection of the Worshipful Company of Clockmakers. It was maintained or repaired by AJ. Thornton who opened his clock making business in Stone in 1926 and continued until his death in 1982.
