Description:East south east view of ruins on a wooded hill. Inscribed 'To the right Hon[orable] EDWARD Lord WARD Baron of BIRMINGHAM Heir apparent of ye Barony of DUDLEY of DUDLEY CASTLE. This 3 Table being the E.S.E. Prospect of the said CASTLE in Testimony of his gratitude is humbly dedicated by R.P.L.L.D.' Drawn and engraved by Michael Burghers for Robert Plot's 'Natural History of Staffordshire', first published in 1686.
