Description:The hotel has undergone a facelift from the image taken in the 1930’s. The uppermost floor remains untouched, but the windows and doors on the ground & first floor have been radically altered. The hotel served passengers from the nearby Hanley railway station on the Potteries Loop Line just a short distance down Trinity Street. It closed as a hotel in 1956 and shortly afterwards was converted into a bank.
