Description:Pieces of 'PLUTO' (Pipe Line Under The Ocean) which allowed petrol oil fuel supplies to go from the south coast of England under the Channel to the Normandy Invasion Beaches in WW2, in order to supply allied armies. On the left can be seen Freddie Miller (fitter turner) and on the right, William Bill Kinson, a Driller.
