Date:25th of April 1910

Description:An arrangement for soldiers from Whittington Barracks to tie the plane down with stakes and ropes overnight was not carried out and during the night of Sunday 24 April it was blown over onto its back by a gale. The top wing was torn in several places and numerous struts were broken.
