Description:A re-used lintel on the south-west elevation of Woodshutts Farm on Second Avenue, Kidsgrove. It reads '1632 John Rabone and Jane His Wife'.

Externally this Grade II listed building is a mid-19th century brick farmhouse but contains a timber-framed core of cruck construction dating to about 1500. The rear wing dates from the 17th century.
