Description:An aerial view of Cannock Community Hospital nearing completion taken from the south-east. In the foreground is Cannock town centre. Designed by architects Lasdun, Redhouse and Softley, construction of the new Cannock Community Hospital commenced in October 1988 and it opened in 1992. The new building cost £17 million and replaced the old Chase Hospital. It is now (2023) Cannock Chase Hospital and has been part of the Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust since 2014.
