Description:Gailey Wharf stands on the Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal, which was engineered by James Brindley and opened in May 1772. The embattled tower is the 18th century Round House, formerly the lock keeper’s cottage. Beyond it can be seen the bridge for the A5 (Watling Street). Postcard published by Visions Cards.
