Description:A postcard view which looks from the north towards St. Chad’s Church, Longsdon. This Grade II listed building was designed by Gerald Horsley and consecrated in 1905. Built of local stone in the Decorated Gothic style it has a west tower, broach spire and a south porch.

This postcard was franked in Longsdon, although the year is unclear. The stamp indicates that it was posted some-time between 1906 and 1918 and sent to an address in Wolstanton, Stoke-on-Trent.
