Description:A postcard view of the School in Hyde Lea. There had been a school in Hyde Lea from around 1863 until it closed in 1980. In later years the cottage on the left and part of the building (centre left) were demolished and redeveloped as a private house. The remaining part of the school (on the right) became Hyde Lea and Coppenhall Village Hall. This postcard was published by Lilywhite (1932) Ltd., Sowerby Bridge.
