Description:A Frith's postcard from showing the bowling green and pavilion in Hednesford Park. The park was opened in 1931 on the site of Hednesford's pool. The woodland behind on the edge of Hednesford Hills is known locally as 'Gaskin's Wood' where murderer Henry Gaskin initially disposed of his wife's body in 1919.
