Description:An interior view of the Darlaston Cafe, with tables laid ready for the day's customers in this postcard view. Opened in 1929 by Donald Campbell, the Darlaston Cafe was a regular watering hole for travellers on the A34; the main route north-south through Staffordshire before the M6. It was later known as Silver Birches Cafe and is now (2022) part of R M Commercials.
