Description:Stone Park was originally a hunting ground owned by Stone Priory. It was acquired by the Crompton family after the Reformation and ownership passed to the Leveson-Gower family of Trentham in the 18th Century. The current, largely early 19th century farm house occupies the site of the mediaeval manor house.
