Date:4th of November 2021

Description:Stafford's magistrates courts, located on the corner of Cope Street and South Walls in the town centre, were built in 1977 alongside the new police station on Eastgate Street. However, due to reorganization of the local magistrates courts, the building had become vacant and was completely demolished in 2021. This photograph is one of several taken to show the progress of the demolition by S.J. Walchester, the company hired to undertake the work.
