Description:This modern mural depicts three notable figures from the past, each with a connection to Stafford. These are: suffragette Alice Hawkins (born in Stafford in 1863); Aethelflaed, Lady of the Mercians (who created the Saxon burgh of Stafford in 913); and John Bradshaw, the 17th century MP for the town who oversaw the trial of Charles I in 1649.

The mural forms part of the decor at Coffee#1, a cafe at the southern end of Greengate Street occupying the former Bella Pasta Italian restaurant premises.
