Description:This view was taken during the restoration of Victoria Park in Stafford and shows construction work for a new Café which later became known as Albert’s Café.

The water in the foreground flows from the adjacent River Sow (which is on the left and just out of shot of the camera), into this area which in earlier years was part of former Town Mill pool.
