Description:Gertrude Haywood was the younger sister of Stafford's Chief Fire Officer, Alfred Ernest Haywood, who is the tall man standing second on the right. Gertrude, who was born deaf, can be seen in the middle of the photograph. Her daughter Winnie was born in 1911 and lived to the ripe old age of 104. The group is pictured outside St Mary's Collegiate Church, Stafford, where the marriage took place.
