Description:Stafford Concert Brass playing on rear of a lorry at Stafford Pageant in June 1987. Stafford Brass Band was formed at the English Electric Lichfield Road works during World War II. In the late 1940s the band moved to the Royal British Legion headquarters in Eastgate Street and became Stafford British Legion Band. The band was also later known as the Stafford Borough and British Legion Band and Stafford Concert Brass.
