Description:View from the north showing the tower and nave. St. John the Baptist Church has a 13th century tower and chancel with later additions. The upper part of the tower is Perpendicular. The parish of Croxall was divided between Derbyshire and Staffordshire until 1894, at which point the church and township of Croxall was included in Staffordshire.
