Description:This view shows the recipient’s name and the address to which Pte. J Bean sent his letter, which was franked in Brocton on 27 November 1916. At the top of the envelope there is an identification mark of the Church Army Recreation Huts, which was one of the religious groups that provided facilities for the troops to enjoy a Christian environment and where they could purchase coffee, cake, cigarettes, stamps etc.
