Description:This envelope with a YMCA logo was used in 1916. There is no accompanying letter but on the reverse of the envelope is written: “I have omitted to send Uncle John’s letter, will send same tomorrow”.

The envelope was franked on 15 December 1916 at Brocton Camp, Stafford and sent to the address in the picture.
