Description:Volunteer blood donors on beds with blankets, sleeves rolled up, being attended to by nurses at Heath House, near Tean. In the foreground donors are having a cup of tea and a biscuit after they have given blood. With the support of the Phillips family, Heath House was used as a Red Cross Auxiliary Hospital between 1941 and 1946.
