Description:The entrance front of Heath House showing the porte cochere. Heath House was built for John Burton Philips in 1836 and was designed by Thomas Johnson of Lichfield. It is a large house of sandstone ashlar, built in a Tudor style. The Philips family owned the Tean Hall Mills and made their wealth through the manufacture of cotton tape.
