Description:St. George's Hospital Chapel was originally the chapel for the County Asylum on Corporation Street. This plaque is attached to the frame of a large oil painting given by Dr. Benjamin Henry Shaw (1873-1955) in his retirement as Medical Superintendent in May 1938, after 40 years working at Stafford Asylum.
