Description:US Frorces personnel on their way to worship on a Sunday morning at the Chapel at Duncan Hall, Yarnfield. The Chapel was multi-denominational and hosted Catholic masses, Protestant services, Jewish services, and services for the Church of the Latter Day Saints (Mormons). An image from the 'Yarnfield Yank', a booklet published in 1945 to commemorate the presence of US Army personnel at transit camps in Yarnfield, near Stone during World War II. The camps at Yarnfield were designated by the US Army as Army Air Force Reinforcement Depot, AAF Station 594.
