Description:The recumbent bronze sculpture on a plinth which represents “The Fallen Warrior” by German sculptor, Professor Hans Wimmer (1907-1992). This stark bronze memorial to the dead in the Hall of Honour at the German Military Cemetery takes the form of a reclining somewhat abstract and corpse-like figure draped in a shroud.
