Description:Detail from the right-hand panel of the war memorial window in St Peter's Church, Yoxall, commemorating the local men who fell in World War 1. In this scene, a wounded British soldier lies on the battlefield, looking up towards a vision of the crucifixion in the neighbouring panel. In front of him sits his upturned steel helmet, whilst in the background, two stretcher-bearers carry away a wounded man.
