Description:View from the 'lookout window' at Moseley Old Hall, near Featherstone. It overlooks the front gardens and lane beyond, which served as the main Wolverhampton Road in the 17th century. From here, Father John Huddlestone watched for Parliamentarian forces as he assisted Charles II in hiding. Moseley Old Hall, now a National Trust property open to visitors, is famous for sheltering Charles II as he fled from the battle of Worcester in 1651.
