Description:View of the Thomas Whitgreave's Room, Moseley Old Hall, near Featherstone. It is named after the owner of the hall at the time it sheltered Charles II as he fled from the battle of Worcester in 1651. Whitgreave's portrait can be seen hanging over the fireplace, whilst on the wall to the right can be seen a portrait of Charles I, father of Moseley's royal visitor. Moseley Old Hall is now a National Trust property open to visitors.
