Description:One of several tableau-style scenes in the Lichfield Heritage Centre, formerly housed in the old St Mary's Church in Market Square. This scene shows a mannequin depicting a 17th century Parliamentarian cavalryman ('Roundhead') wearing a typical 'lobster pot' helmet. It formed a part of a display relating to Lichfield during the British civil wars. The Heritage Centre closed in 2017 and the building converted to house Lichfield's main public library.
