Description:One of several tableau-style scenes in the Lichfield Heritage Centre, formerly housed in the old St Mary's Church in Market Square. This scene shows two mannequins depicting punishment in 18th century Lichfield involving the use of the pillory. The Heritage Centre closed in 2017 and the building converted to house Lichfield's main public library.
