Description:This view of Horse Fair looks north towards Upper Brook Street. The road traffic island (Globe island) has changed over the years to cope with the busy road junction. The shop in the centre is Lucille's dress shop and on the right is Parchfield's Milk Bar which became the cafe of choice for the local Teddy Boys in the 1950s and 1960s. Several of the buildings remain (January 2019) although over the years their ground floors have changed use on several occasions.
