Description:This photograph is looking south along the A34 and was taken from close to the junction with Whitmore Road (off to the right, just beyond the bus shelter). In the distance is the original entrance to Trentham leisure gardens and Monica's Café (now the Poacher's Cottage). The River Trent flows towards Trentham in the valley off to the right. The houses lining the A34 on the left were built in the 1930s. Coming towards the camera is a PMT (Potteries Motor Traction) bus in red and cream livery.
