Description:A colour-tinted postcard view of Hednesford War Memorial, built on land on the edge of Hednesford Hills donated by the Marquis of Anglesey and funded by subscription. Fundraising was temporarily hindered by the coal strike of 1921. It was unveiled by the Princess Alice, Countess of Athlone (a granddaughter of Queen Victoria) on November 9th 1922.
