Description:A view north along the Caldon Canal from the Leek Road (A53) bridge. Buller's factory is on the left beyond the railway bridge (Biddulph Valley/Stoke to Leek branch). The factory was opened in 1920 and manufactured electrical porcelain and insulators. Buller's later amalgamated with Allied Insulators and the Milton factory was closed in 2001. The site has since been cleared and redeveloped for housing. The higher ground behind is part of Norton in the Moors.
