Description:Pictured is John Hart, known as 'Jack'. Initially Jack’s trade was as a motor mechanic, later he joined the Royal Air Force and was demobilised during November 1919. At the age of 25 Jack joined the Staffordshire Police in 1926 and worked in mining districts around the Rugeley area. He left the police force during 1931 and became a lorry driver, later he kept a newspaper shop in Brownhills. This photographic postcard image was taken by A J Guy of Stafford.
