Description:‘Isabel’ pictured during restoration at GEC’s Castle Engineering Works, Stafford.
‘Isabel’, a narrow gauge locomotive, was built by W.G. Bagnall Ltd. in 1897 for the Cliffe Hill Granite Company. She returned to Stafford in 1952 and was displayed for several years by Victoria Park, opposite the railway station. In 1978 she was partially restored and then removed in 1984. Full restoration was completed in 1991 and she was moved to Amerton Farm where she is still in use.
