Description:A Corporal with the Queens Gurkha Signals (one of the field squadrons serving with the 22 Signal Regiment based at Stafford), is pictured next to the Army flag while it is being prepared to be raised following the lowering of the RAF flag during the ceremony when RAF Stafford closed on 31 March 2006. The site was then occupied by the Army and became known as Beacon Barracks, MOD Stafford.
