Description:Previously known as 'The Colliers Arms, according to with 'The Sentinel' newspaper correspondent Kevin Salt, the origin of the pub name can be traced to 1947 when it was taken over by local man, Ralph 'Charlie' Bassett. It closed in the early 21st century and on re-opening was renamed 'The White Lion'.
