Description:View from rear of the Main Offices across the lawns to the old Siemens factory buildings. Amongst the long grass, formerly well-kept lawns, are several handrails, these led down steps into a complex of old air raid shelters. These shelters originally contained an air/gas filtration system, a casualty clearing section, an operating theatre, there was also a Managing Director's shelter and a Control Bunker. On the left of the picture was an underground emergency water tank which was also used by the Site Security and Fire Section to test their fire hoses.
