Description:Housekeeper, Mrs T. Ward and Chef, Mr S. Banton in the garden of the New Hough. The garden was very large with formal borders, hedges, lawns and a large vegetable garden. Due to redevelopment of the Alstom Lichfield Road Site, the New Hough closed and the contents were sold by Auction on Saturday 20 July 2002. A large part of the area in this photograph was due to become a car park for the Hough Retail Shopping Park.
