Description:Grey beret with red tear-shaped badge on front with metal badge pinned on. Badge consists of cross with crown on top and 'A' in centre: Queen Alexandra's Royal Army Nursing Corps. Label on inside reads "U have been zapped by 657 SQ. AAC air mobile...." Beret would be shaped to head by soaking it and wearing it wet.
Belonged to Captain Margaret Barclay of the Queen Alexandra's Royal Army Nursing Corps, who served in the Falklands War in 1982. From Eccleshall in Staffordshire, she served as army Theatre Sister in Port Stanley for six months during the Falklands Conflict.
