Description:A built in millstone grit bakestone (or 'backstone') in the kitchen at Broncott Farm, Upper Hulme, near the Roaches. It was used for making Staffordshire oatcakes. it wasd dismantled and moved to the Staffordshire County Museum at Shugborough when the kitchen was modernised in 1977.
