Frederick Raymond Lock, Hartshill, Stoke on Trent

Description:Frederick Raymond Lock, son of Frederick William Lock and Sarah Alice Siddall. He emigrated to Australia with his parents and brother Albert John Lock (possibly born on voyage) arriving in Brisbane on the RMS "Whakatane" on 21st January 1910 after departing London on 27th November 1909. The first lived in Blackbutt, Queensland, later residing at Flower Street, Northgate, Brisbane; at Arababy Creek, Moore, Queensland where he was a farmer until at least 1937; then, some time after 1937, at Zillmere Road, Geebung and later at Tuffnell Road, Banyo (both in Brisbane). He was a carpenter when living at the latter addresses. He married Rose Helen (?) some time between 1937 and 1943.
