Description:Mill Street Wesleyan Ragged School banner, from Leek. Blue embroidered silk with blue, white and yellow silk tassels and fringe. The side shown has painted inscriptions: "Suffer little children to come unto me" and " Mill Street Wesleyan Ragged School". There are two roundels in the top corners with painted images of children. Dimensions: 2230mm x 2500mm. The banner was made by Henry Waite of Bridge Street, Manchester in about 1875. From the collections of Staffordshire County Museum.
