Description:Showing a group of old houses, including the High Hall, of timber construction, with overhanging gables. There are porches with steps on the ground floor. There is horse and cart on the road in front of the houses. Inscribed 'To Hugh Henshall Williamson, of Greenway Bank, Co. of Stafford, this ancient view of the Greengate, Stafford is respectfully inscribed by his obliged humble servant, John Robert Ferneyhough.' Lithograph by R. Martin after a drawing by J.R. Ferneyhough.
