Description:c.1925-1937 Glazed StonewareH. 27.3 x W.11.5 cm Small earthenware cider jar with a pulled handle and prominent throwing rings, thrown and turned by Michael Cardew at Winchcombe Pottery, Gloucestershire, England. Cream slip, hand painted stylised decoration using iron and cobalt oxide, lead transparent glaze, base unglazed.
