Description:c.1920-1923 Glazed Stoneware H. 8.2 x W. 12.3 cm Stoneware bowl on foot thrown and turned by Shoji Hamada at St. Ives, Cornwall, England. Grey/green transparent glaze with four inlaid stylised floral designs in white slip around the exterior. There is also an inlaid white band of slip just below the rim. The body has warped and bubbled during firing. Base unglazed.
