Description:The Steak Bar menu from the Barley Mow public house, Milford. or 11 shillings and six pence you could have a choice of gammon steak and egg, lamb cutlets, pork chop, or grilled halibut steak, all served with french fried potatoes, green peas and garnish. 11/6 would be 57 and a half pence today. For the time this was an extensive menu for a pub, and it reflects Milford Common's long standing popularity as a venue for a day out.
